On July 17 the Kalamata Dance Festival in collaboration with the Museum of Cycladic Art will organize an art workshop for children and teenagers (4-15 years old) entitled The Human Being at the Center. The workshop will take place on the occasion of the kid’s art exhibition of the same name, featuring works by children from the prefecture of Messinia who participated in the international kids’ art contest of the Museum of Cycladic Art. The workshop will take place at 18:30, 19:00 and 19:30, with different groups. 

Along with their parents and friends, the young participants will present their work on transparent surfaces, creating an installation at the Foyer of the Kalamata Dance Megaron with the figure of a human at the center. 

The workshop was designed and is implemented by Daphne Kouri and Eleni Markou from the Department of Educational & Community Programs of the Museum of Cycladic Art.
