Her approach offers them the opportunity to discover and creatively explore the connection between mind and body. This workshop enables participants to be in control of their own physical instrument by recognising tension and breaking unconscious movement habits and to continue growing creatively, technically and emotionally.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sita works with a game of images, situations, feelings, rhythm, to support individual research on one\u2019s own totality in ever-changing circumstances. Her physicality is built on full, embodied, fast, rhythmical changes of emotions and images.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With this preparation, the dancers then move into learning a given choreography, exploring how to find oneself in learning situations, and absorbing the material. Sita\u2019s movement language is expressive, fluent, sensual and earthy. In 2017 she founded the Sita Ostheimer Company, a project-based platform that brings together artists from dance, music composition as well as lighting design. Familiar with the movement language of choreographers such as Hofesh Shechter, Itzik Galili and Krisztina de Ch\u00e2tel, with whom she worked for many years, Ostheimer\u2019s focus today is on developing and deepening her own movement aesthetics, philosophy and choreographic poetry. Since 2017, she has worked on numerous in-house productions with her company, as well as commissioned works, e.g. for the Staatstheater Kassel, Hessische Staatsballett Wiesbaden, Stadttheater Pforzheim, Volkstheater Rostock, the Folkwang University Essen and for Verve \u2014 Northern School of Contemporary Dance Leeds.
